Pearl Harbor President, Charles Kapua and Immediate Past President presented a $350.00
Donation to the Washington Place Foundation on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 on behalf of Washington Place. The Board of Directors moved to make this donation at the August Board Meeting on Sunday August 5, 2018. The presentation was made to Cameron Heen who is the Curator of Washington Place in the Dining Room at Washington Place. Nani Na Pua Ko’olau will take place on Saturday, September 8, 2018. This gala dinner will be held on the magnificent grounds of Washington Place, honoring Queen Lili’uokalani and her home. Guests will stroll the grounds while enjoying pupus and cocktails listening to Kimo Alama Keaulana and Lei Hulu. With entertainment by the Galliard String Quartet and Halau I Ka Wekiu. Dinner will be created by Ed Kenney. Pearl Harbor Hawaiian Civic Club continues to support Washington Place Foundation in perpetuating the Hawaiian Language, music and culture following Queen Lili’uokalani’s vision.
